10-week structured Menopause Exercise Programme at IRIE Studio
At IRIE – The Joyful Movement Studio, we offer a specialised approach to exercise for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
Many women notice changes during this stage — lower energy, reduced strength, more stiffness, or simply that what used to work no longer works. It can also bring up symptoms that don’t always feel easy to talk about in a typical fitness setting.
This is often a sign that your body needs a more tailored, supportive approach — and having the right guidance in place makes all the difference.
Why Strength Training Matters
A smartly-designed strength training programme plays a key role during menopause. It can help to:
- support metabolism and insulin sensitivity
- maintain bone density
- improve joint stability and reduce aches
- support pelvic floor and core function
- build overall strength and resilience
Training well during menopause is about more than lifting weights — and many women find it helpful to have a bit of guidance along the way.
10-week Menopause Strength Programme at IRIE Kilkenny
A small-group, coached programme designed to support women in a structured and sustainable way.
This is not a drop-in class, but a guided programme where we build strength progressively together.
Structure
This is a 10-week progressive programme from 20 April until 26 June, designed to support you through this stage with consistency and guidance.
We build gradually over the weeks — helping you develop strength, confidence, and a better understanding of your body, without overwhelm.
The group remains the same throughout the 10 weeks, creating a supportive and familiar environment.
Registration closes once the programme begins, ensuring a consistent and supportive group experience throughout. The programme runs three times per year — in January, April, and September.
Includes
• Choice of 2 or 3 sessions per week, depending on what suits your schedule and energy
• Menopause-focused strength and core training, supporting bone health, muscle mass, and overall wellbeing
• A balanced approach combining strength, mobility, and gentle conditioning
• Flexible make-up options to help you stay consistent when life gets busy
• Weekly guidance and support, helping you understand how to train during this stage
• A small, supportive group environment, where you feel comfortable, seen, and encouraged
By the end of the 10 weeks, you can expect to feel
Stronger, more confident in your body, and clearer about how to support yourself through this stage — with a routine that feels manageable and sustainable.
Classes
- Meno/Strength (Mon 7:00 AM / Wed 5:45 PM)
- Meno/Core & Pelvic Floor (Fri 7:00 AM)
Your investment
The full 10-week programme is €450, which includes three guided exercise sessions each week.
When you break that down, it works out at just €15 per class — even if you were only attending the structured sessions.
But this programme is about much more than individual classes.
You’ll also be supported through a more complete approach, including:
- gentle coaching and guidance throughout the 10 weeks
- a workbook to help you reflect, understand your body, and build awareness
- support with building small, sustainable habits week by week that fit into your daily life
- expert input and additional resources to help you feel more informed and reassured
- extra programme elements alongside the classes, designed to support you beyond the sessions
This is a small-group, supportive environment where everything is designed to work together — helping you feel stronger, more stable, and more at ease in your body over time.
This is also an introductory price for the programme. From September, pricing will increase as the programme continues to develop.
If you’ve been thinking about starting, this is the best time to secure your place at the current rate.
