Menopause Programmes at IRIE Studio
At IRIE – The Joyful Movement Studio, we offer a specialised approach to exercise for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
Many women notice changes during this stage – lower energy, reduced strength, more stiffness, or simply that what used to work no longer works.
This is not a failure of your body.
It’s a sign that your body needs a different, more supportive approach to training.
Why Strength Training Matters
A smartly-designed strength training programme plays a key role during menopause. It can help to:
- support metabolism and insulin sensitivity
- maintain bone density
- improve joint stability and reduce aches
- support pelvic floor and core function
- build overall strength and resilience
Training well during menopause is about more than lifting weights — and many women find it helpful to have a bit of guidance along the way.
